Shipping policy

At The Real Christmas Tree People, we take pride in delivering and collecting your real Christmas tree with care and convenience. Please read the details below for our delivery, collection, and post-Christmas recycling services for the 2025 season.

1. Delivery Areas

We provide delivery across North Kildare (and surrounding areas) and West Dublin (and surrounding areas).

Delivery rates are as follows:

  • Local Delivery up to 6.5 km: €15 (minimum order €25)

  • Local Delivery 6.5 km – 20 km: €20 (minimum order €25)

If your address is outside these areas, please contact us before placing your order, and we’ll confirm whether delivery is possible.

2. Delivery Schedule

Deliveries take place from 28 November to 23 December 2025.

You can select a preferred delivery date at checkout or contact us at therealchristmastreepeople@gmail.com or 086 256 3311 to arrange a suitable date.

Please note that specific delivery times cannot be guaranteed or selected. Deliveries are scheduled by area to ensure efficient routing and timely service.

If no preferred date is specified at checkout, we’ll contact you to confirm a delivery day before dispatch.

All trees and wreaths are delivered directly by our own team, ensuring care and freshness from our farm to your home.

3. Delivery Process

Deliveries take place daily during the Christmas season.
If you’re not at home when we arrive, our team will leave your tree safely outside in a suitable and discreet location near your front door.

Once the delivery has been made, it is deemed successfully completed, and responsibility for the item passes to you. Please ensure there is safe access to the property for delivery.

4. Collection Option

You’re also welcome to collect your tree in person from our base at:

Ringwood Cottage, Hazelhatch, Celbridge, Co. Kildare
Collection hours: 10am – 6pm daily between 28 November and 23 December 2025.

Simply select “Collection” at checkout or contact us to confirm your preferred date.

5. January Tree Collection & Recycling Service

Make post-Christmas clean-up easier with our professional Christmas tree collection and recycling service.

Available in the following North Kildare and West Dublin locations only:
Celbridge, Newcastle, Leixlip, Maynooth, Lucan, Rathcoole, Saggart, Clane, Rathcoffey, Straffan, and Ardclough.

Our eco-friendly service ensures your tree is collected directly from your doorstep and recycled or composted sustainably — reducing waste and supporting a greener community.

Important Information

  • Collections will take place between Monday 5 January and Friday 16 January 2025.

  • Please choose a collection date when booking.

  • Trees must be left at the front of your house and be easily accessible to our team by 10am on your chosen date.

  • If your tree is not left out on time, a second collection charge of €15 may apply.

  • Please ensure the tree is completely bare, with all decorations, lights, and the stand removed.

  • Do not obstruct public paths or roads when leaving your tree out.

6. Delivery Exceptions and Access

Please ensure that driveways and entryways are clear and accessible at the time of delivery or collection.
We cannot accept responsibility for delays caused by severe weather, traffic, or circumstances beyond our control, but we will always do our best to keep you informed.

7. Order Confirmation and Updates

You’ll receive an email confirmation once your order is placed.
We’ll contact you closer to your delivery or collection date with any updates or instructions.
