Refund policy

We at The Real Christmas Tree People want you to be delighted with your purchase. As we specialise in fresh, perishable Christmas trees, wreaths, and seasonal products, we aim to provide high-quality products and excellent customer service. Please review our refund policy below.


Christmas Trees, Wreaths, and Other Perishable Products

Because of their perishable nature, real Christmas trees, wreaths, and other fresh seasonal items cannot be returned or refunded once they have been delivered or collected, except where the product is damaged or defective on arrival.

If your tree or wreath arrives damaged, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photos showing the issue. We’ll review your claim promptly and, where appropriate, arrange a replacement or refund in line with the Consumer Rights Act 2022.


Christmas Tree Stands and Non-Perishable Items

For Christmas tree stands or other non-perishable products, we accept returns if:

  • the item is unused,

  • in its original packaging, and

  • in resalable condition.

You have 14 days from the date of delivery to request a return or exchange. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

Refunds will be issued to your original payment method once the returned item has been received and inspected.


Delivery and Collection Services

Delivery Service
If your order has not yet been processed or dispatched, you may request a cancellation and receive a full refund.

We are not responsible for delays caused by couriers, weather, or events beyond our control. However, if your order cannot be fulfilled, we will issue a full refund.

Collection Service
Our tree collection service is available for trees purchased from The Real Christmas Tree People and operates in January only. If you need to cancel your scheduled collection, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance.


Refund Processing

Once your return is received and approved, we’ll process your refund to the original payment method. Please allow 5–7 business days for the refund to appear in your account.

If you haven’t received your refund after this period, please contact your bank or card provider first, as processing times can vary.
